about

These folk tales were collected from students in ESL classes in Pittsburg KS (1988-1994) and Carbondale IL (1994-2012); some were from other places also.

In some cases I (the teacher) worked with their grammar or spelling so that it was acceptable. In some cases I just changed it, with their permission. In some cases I failed to make any changes at all, or additional changes were made in the typing. They were typed by my son, Noah Leverett.
